Doggie Haven is a somewhat legendary facility in the East Mountains. Immunization records and a pre-boarding interview are required for this facility, but your pet will likely have a better time on your vacation that you did.
OFF-LEASH DOG PARKS Note: Check with your vet before bringing your puppy or young dog to a park. Immunization programs must be completed first to ensure your dog's good health.
Although fleas are rare in New Mexico, the US Forest Service strongly recommends the use of flea powders and other flea prevention devices if you are walking your dog on trails in the National Forests or other wilderness areas. This helps prevent the spread of disease from wild to domesticated animals.
