AIR TRAVEL
Albuquerque International Sunport Santa Fe's closest international airport is the Albuquerque International Sunport, about an hour's drive south of Santa Fe on Interstate 25. The airport contracts with major airlines and major car rental agencies. If you drive to the airport, there are many long-term car lots in the vicinity.

Great Lakes Aviation provides 6 daily flights between Santa Fe and Denver. Reservations can be made through Great Lakes Aviation 1-800-554-5111. The telephone number for the local ticket counter is (505) 473-4118.

BUSES
Greyhound Bus Lines connect to just about anywhere in the country. The terminal is located at 858 St. Michael's Drive. 505-471-0008.
The local bus line in town is the Santa Fe Trails. It operates from 6AM to 10:15PM. You can purchase single fare, daily, or monthly passes. See www.santafenm.gov or call 505-955-2001.
RAIL
The Santa Fe Southern Railway, which uses vintage rail cars that portray different decades of train travel with particular decorative styles, offer lots of family-fun trips between downtown Santa Fe and Lamy, a historic village 20 miles east of Santa Fe. The train's route begins at 410 S. Guadelupe. 505-898-8600.
From Lamy, you can connect with the Amtrak lines that runs from Los Angeles to Chicago. www.amtrak.com 505-466-4511.
To get from the Lamy Depot to Santa Fe, take the Lamy Shuttle 505-982-8829, a van that delivers passengers to local hotels and rental car companies.
HOTELS
Some of the more noteworthy hotels in Santa Fe include La Fonda Hotel, Eldorado Hotel and the Inn of the Anasazi. All three of these hotels are located within a block or two of the Plaza.
